In America, a 2010 report by the Center of Disease Control and Prevention found that: 35.6% of women and 28.5% of men are suffering from DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
A study in 9 developing countries including Cambodia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Haiti, India, Nicaragua, Peru, and Zambi by Demographic and Health Survey concludes that domestic violence related to husband’s drunkenness.
Women in those countries tend to accept domestic abuse as scarification for the peaceful families.
In Vietnam, according to a recent research by WHO
64% of women aged 15 to 49 accepted violence treatment from their husbands as normal.
32% of ever-marrried women aged 15 to 49 had experienced physical violence by a partner.
10% women had experienced sexual violence
